VISION
The Traveling Gallery began with the belief that art is meant to be viewed live. Art & Culture circulated throughout the Americas for at least 1,000 years. Egypt, Asia, Africa, and Europe art & artisanal crafts were on the move for multiple millennia. In the modern era, many artists have been localized in community often focusing on online sales or tourists. Art presents much better in person and the talent and craftsmanship of outstanding pieces can be better appreciated.
Darlene Alexander's vision of The Traveling Gallery is to bring amazing works of art to the world. The shows & exhibits will always include acts of service and organizations focused on reinforcing community values. Many of the pieces she curates come from off the beaten paths of big cities. Local goes global.
